Durango or telluride?

hi!

my aunt and uncle have a house out west and im gonna make a trip out there this winter and the closest resorts to their house are durango and telluride.

so my question is which is better: durango or telluride?

i want some park but mostly the colorado experience, steeps, trees, chutes, and powwwwwwwwwwwwwww! and cliffs and such, also i might be wanting some side or backcountry.

telluride for sure, i don't think durrango is very good, but telluride is supposed to be really sick!

 
purgatory is the mtn close to durango and its not all that great. lots of flat, bad park, not very much exciting stuff. definitely go to telluride.
 
Telluride is definitely the better mountain, but if you get the chance check out Purg. It is like no other mountain. There are rollers galore and the whole mountain is a natural feature. If you wind up out this way shot me a holler and I will give you a tour.
 
Telluride is definitely the better mountain, but drop into Durango for a day or two. I was told by one of their reps they finally built their terrain park with dirt so it only needs to be covered with snow to open this year.
 
my home is telluride! hahaha basicly to summerize telluride up is its a everything ski aria. park, mogals, trees, back country, cliffs, hikeing, FUCKING EVERYTHING! hahahah whatever you want in a colorado ski area.... is at telluride
