Durable park skis

In the grand scheme of things, their not THAT durable. Like don't get me wrong, they'll deff last two seasons, but their no rossi/on3p/ or armada. You'll have a few edge cracks, probably minor, but there, and some minor/major base damage depending on how often you wax em. And their also, at least on the sidewall park skis, really heavy.

Like in order from shit to good durability wise:

Surface, Elan, K2, Rossi/ON3P

LINE are the go!! or i've also found Rossis and Heads to be durable and cop a good amount of abuse.

BuY your skis from backcountry.com and when they're stuffed send em back and get a new pair no questions asked...

believe what you want, i will never buy a pair of moment park skis. Although moment was kind enough to replace the broken skis of the girl who snapped it. (it really is horribly embarassing how a 100 lbs girl snapped her moments)
pow skis, another story altogether

I have only skied three companies for a full season.

I used to only ride Rossi S4's then I switched to Armadas for the past 2 years and they blow rossi's out of the water when it comes to the durability of edges. Rossi's edges are way too thin and crack fairly easily(usually get 20+ edge cracks a season), but they have very durable top sheets and don't really lose there pop. My armada's are a little less durable on the top sheet but they lasted a whole season of 100+ days with only 4 edge cracks which to me is really good.

I also have tried K2 fugitives and I ripped out the edge within 3 days so I probably wont try K2 again.

So overall, I think you can't go wrong with the Halo/Alpha, T-Hall, or AR7 for durable park skis.

probably no option for you americans, but the european brand "movement" is seriously bombproof, after 3y my edge started to break and separate from the sidewall, so i seriously tried to break the things in my last week skiing and by the end it was still in a fairly good condition, i'm very happy about them + the topsheet is super sturdy and the base is fast as hell, even after skiing through grass and over rocks i was still faster in a straight line than anyone else i was skiing with :)
and i ski indoor a lot so thats mainly rails and boxes ...

How has no onetalked about the line afterbangs if you don't mind a few chips on the top from your edges cutting into the wood they are the most durable all park ski out there

My volkl ledges took enough beatings! I fully have a couple of dents in the sidewalls in the center of the skiis, cracks all over, and shit, they still ride as solid, and stiff enough as they did since I bought em.

I'd volkls doing it right, their skiis are legit! The walls must be even better, pretty much any volkl skii is dope, just make sure it has sidewall and your good, fuck those stupid ac50s and shit extended sidewall skiis are dope, they just seem to know whatsup.

Oh yeah and K2 are also prety durable from my experience, very good brand.

i for one can vouch though that Salomon is not durable for the most part, they suck, their skiis fall and crumble to shit.
O and line afterbangs, terrible skiis, they fall apart in days, they suck unless you can get 3 or 4 sets every year, lol.
But K2 and Volkl, great for durability in my eyes.
you want a skii thats stiff if your lookin for durability, i find the softer flexing skiis break faster and are just made not as well, wierd, i dunno, get some stiff ones!! bahaha

my k2 are not heavy at all, maybe abit heavier compared to the 90mm waist of my doamain to like a 83mm waist of an s4...
