Durable bindings?

I've had a few sets of bindings in the past, all of which have broken on me one way or another, in particular the griffons I currently have(big mistake) have needed multiple replacements and I just hate having to get them replaced, so I was wondering what sort of bindings are really durable, Im only 150lbs and 5'8 with a bsl of about 305, so I don't really want to be going for an 18 din, probably a 14 would be good, 16 at a big stretch.

Problem with a burly binding is they're all gonna have a super high DIN range. Pretty much everything that is going to have a steel track and chassis will have a 16-18 max DIN.

My suggestion would be the Tyrolia Peak 15 if you're not going with the FKS.

Any of the Head/Tyrolia/Amlpid/4Frnt 15 din bindings would be good for you.

STH Driver 14 is your best bet, hands down

Yeah I don't think I'll ever be buying marker again, unless I hear of major improvements. from what I've heard I think the fks 140/sally sth 16 driver would be best, which one is better? and why? I can get the fks cheaper than the drivers so I'll probably get that(especially as It seems to be a lot better)

They're both at the same level, same reputation, same durability. It comes down to whatever you can get. Neither is a bad choice.

I'll probably end up going with the rossis then, not found that style of salomon binding to be durable in the past and as much as I'm sure they're great bindings now, I don't like to stick to a company if it sells me a bad product.

I'm a Salomon guy, I've seen their shitty bindings, I've broken some on my own, same with boots. I blew up some old Salomon bindings the season before the STH came out. So the season the STHs came out, I picked up a pair (only available in 16 DIN at the time). This was about 5-6 years ago, and these bindind are still together and performing the same as day one. They've been mounted on multiple skis (all skis broke or died). Only problem with them is that I've smashed the cosmetic casing on the toe, and gone through a few brakes (if you break a brake on the FKS, you're boned). In all, I'm a STH guy, it's the only binding I trust.

I have a pair of griffons. They suck. But I also use Tyrolia peak 18s. They are the most sturdy bidings ive ever used.

Really? As far as I can tell the vast majority of the binding is still made of the same plastic as the Griffon. Putting a stiff spring in that gives it an 8-18 DIN range does not make it strong, nor durable.
