I'm looking into getting a pair of Moment Skis but I know nothing about their durablility and how long their life span is?

any help will be awesome and +k

My roommate has a pair of Moments that have lasted several seasons of hard park abuse on rails. He had to cut out about an inch of edge this last month, but they are still going strong despite that. I switched over to moments recently because of how much he liked his and how long they lasted and I absolutely love them. By far the best skis I have ever had.

To add a little perspective to the use his moments have seen they were used at Hyland MN, which if you know anything about is a ton of rails and a rope so you hotlap all day, lots and lots of rail hits.

theyre pretty bulletproof. i have heard only a few horror stories but the damage was from being absolutely stupid. not even real skiing. My bibbys are on their 4th east coast season and i ski them in the park sometimes as well as on ice and trees with low cover. theyre great. also have reno rockers that have edge missin, but they are the first ones ever. first rockers parck ski in fact. still ride really well especially in spring conditions

im gonna keep this short and sweet

fun skis, but i have seen so many break (i live in Reno where they are made, so they're quite abundant) that i dont trust them

Not sure if they have changed something since this thread was made or if I have just had a good experience. I've had a few brutal crashes on mine, in several videos I have you can see my ski flex well past a 30 degree angle right behind my binding and they are still perfectly fine. As well as a crash similar to the OP's where the square tip got caught under a rail and tore my ass out of the bindings hard as hell. No delams, no snaps, no edge tears out of anything I've done so far.

I caught my tips on my Ghost Chants the other day and face planted. No issue with the ski. So far they are holding up well (I only have a few days on them though).
