that question is way easy, just subsititute the value of t into V(T) and i think t was... 2.34 or something, its easy calculus.

first off, way to go dad. Second, all you have to do is plug in the number for crying out loud. The functin is v(t) = 10.9t right? (it is hard to see) Then plug in 1/2 of the given time (because he starts at zero mph at the top of the hit). So, 1.17(10.9) = whatever it is

v= upon reentering is approximately 11.47 m/s or

11.47*

2.23693629 =25.67 miles per hour upon reentering and launching.

However that is neglecting air friction,
