Dumbest things you've heard people say.

Can be skiing or life in general.

I had a lady at work ( I am a lifeguard at a state beach in RI) ask me if the wind turbine that powers the pavilion was a fan to cool beach patrons on hot days. I believe her exact quote was, " can you turn the fan on so that it can cool the patrons." at this point her husband started calling her a lot of things and I left before I would have said something that would have gotten me fired.

When I worked at Quiznos a guy came in and wanted me to cut up two pieces of bread and use just the bottoms because, "I am trying to lose weight and need to cut down on the carbs."

The dumbest thing anyone has ever done was when I worked as a security guard for our local public pools. Like anything with the government, nothing makes sense or is generally done correctly. As such I was issued handcuffs with no key and mace that I was not licensed to use and sent to a pool across town notorious for gang activity. The check-in kid was always doing stuff to clown around and I always told him to not touch the handcuffs because I dont have a key. Well, I guess he thought I was bullshitting because one day at lunch this kid took them and handcuffed himself to the chainlink fence. He had to sit there looking like an idiot in front of everyone for 45 min while our supervisor had to drive all the way across town to unlock him. The only way he didnt get fired was because we didnt have anyone to replace him. Lol I will never forget the look on his face when it finally clicked that I actually didnt have a key and he was screwed.

that's wierd OP because I also had a lady at work ( I am a lifeguard at a state beach in RI) ask me if the wind turbine that powers the pavilion was a fan to cool beach patrons on hot days. I believe her exact quote was, " can you turn the fan on so that it can cool the patrons." at this point her husband started calling her a lot of things and I left before I would have said something that would have gotten me fired.

That’s crazy because I also had a lady at work ( I am a lifeguard at a state beach in RI) ask me if the wind turbine that powers the pavilion was a fan to cool beach patrons on hot days. No way that’s crazy because I also had a lady at work ( I am a lifeguard at a state beach in RI) ask me if the wind turbine that powers the pavilion was a fan to cool beach patrons on hot days. Did you read the part where I said I've been to several ns meetups and met eteeth?

Glad you participated and did stuff with the community but that doesn’t make you on here any longer.
