Dumb question but need a refresher abt bindings

So I sold my skis to my friend who goes to boulder cuz I didn’t have any opportunities to ski last year, but I’m making a day trip tomorrow. I am using my dads skis, which are perfect for what I need but we have different boots. They are both 26.5 and 305 mm, will I need to adjust the binding? The boots are a different brand (I have technica, he has nordica) but they are same measurements

What binding?

If AFD is adjustable that will likely need adjustment and while you have the boots clicked in just check forward pressure and adjust DIN if needed?

Just because two boots have the same BSL printed on them does not mean they will be the same exact length.

Marker f10. Dins are all set. I believe the f10s are a track system so if I need to adjust it would be able to be done very quickly

It's always a good idea to double check, you can typically find guides online and use simple tools.

The BSL is printed the same so they are probably pretty close and certainly shouldn't need a remount.

But:

-make sure the boot type is compatible (alpine/gripwalk/touring)

-check forward pressure,

-check afd height if applicable

-check any other specific adjustments a binding might have (for example, STH's have a toe wing adjustment)

And finally, of course, adjust the DIN setting
