Dulling edges?

i def dull my park skis. first i actually tune the edges with a 3 degree side bevel and a 1 degree base bevel. then take a bastard file and lightly remove the sharpened edge polish with diamond stones and finish with a polishing with hard then soft gummy stones.
 
Some stores offer a detune under the foot when you get a tune up. You can get about the top foot and bottom foot of the ski sharpened and inbetween get them detuned. Its really nice

 
I just let my skis get dulled the old fashion way by doing a lot of rails. I like this way best because they end up dulling in just the right places.
