Business school ehh? I've never really knew they had a business school. Is the skiing down there that good? I'm from Grand Junction, and I've skied Crested Butte and Telluride quite a bit, but I've never skied Purgatory, Wolf Creek, or Monarch.

i worked at the burj (the 7 star hotel that looks like a sail) for the best part of a year right before coming back to australia,

worked as a porter, fun job tips like nothing i have ever seen. intensly rich people hanging out being good looking.

alcahol is illegal however the hotels are allowed it, so i could always find a drink.

however a few very bad things:

1) Dubai is a shit hole, where all the hotels and stuff are is not dubai Dubai where normal non multi billionares live is dirty and crowded and very expensive i was paying about 300 AUD a week in rent

2) alcahol is illegal in most places which means after a long ass shift you cant drop down to the local for a beer.

3) middle of butt fuck no where. unless you can afford the $90 a day to ski dont think about the ski joint. is is kinda fun though.

anyway its a cool place to see however i would not like there ever again.
 
yea it is a concept drawing of the dubai towers complex, building has start.

there are two princes who are competing to build the largest buildings in the world this is going to win at the moment but they have been competing for it from about 2001 one also owns the palms and the other built the world. pretty cool they had a launch of the project at the burj when i was working, the guy who owns it is prince alwaleed and he is the bloke who owns the silver audi.
 
I am done. Had two last week, one this week, and turned in the three papers I had.

it is actually a bit calm until next week, although I have like 15 hours of research to do. fucking crabs

yea supposidly the hardest thing about it is the lift system because they want to only have to take the one lift on the outside and has to change direction so many times.

but yea it looks pretty dope deffinitly my favorite building desighn apart from the sydney opera house

ya my midterms just finished and i think i totally blew one of them, but we'll see. shitty thing is, theyre MIDTERMS, so when youre done and youre finally thinking "ahhhhh, now i can relax!" you flip through your planner and boom, there's a research paper proposal due on friday and you need to have this whole book on catherine the great read within a week...fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck

on a side note, being a mod would be awesome...i picture it being something like being god, you just swoop in from time to time when there's a bunch of stupid shit going on and ban assholes, that would be so much fun
 
wow quinny pwns noobs like its his job, i just want to clear shit up really quick because my good freinds dad works in the oil buissness so i know some shit. Say the price per barrel is 100 dollars, the people who supply the oil its self only make about 70 bucks because they still have to refine it into the oil that is used in our cars and houses. now that said, the oil in dubai is some type that takes little to no refining to be able to work within the cars and houses ergo they make more money than most oil tycoons
