DSLR Lens setup?

So i have a T3i(not really worth it over the T2i but that's not the point) anyways i was wondering what lenses would be good to have. I only have 4 basic ones, but 2 are just shit.

This is what i have:

55-250 - F/4-5.6(yes i know, blows, but it came with it)

18-55 (kit lens)

Rokinon 8mm Fisheye

50mm F/1.8

I definitely plan on getting rid of the first two but im not sure what to get after i sell them.

Thanks for any help.

Depends what your budget is.

If I was given that setup this is what I would do.

Sell all 4 lenses.

Buy a tokina 11-16 & a Canon 24-105 4L

If you're just looking to sell the first 2 I would invest in a nice zoom lens like the Tamaron 17-50 or something like that.

Dont exactly have a lot of money, im a poor college kid.

But thanks a lot, will definitely look into those lenses.

+k if that even matters to you at this point hah

unfortunately, video/photo equipment is expensive, don't cheap out on glass.

24-105L would be a good all around lens to use until you raise up money for more glass. definitely don't invest little money into glass at the moment because you're a "poor college kid." sell the lenses and buy that lens, and then continue to raise up for more high quality glass.

Are you doing photo or video? If photos are your main interest then constant aperture shouldn't be as big of a concern and you could look into a 15-85, it has a better range than the tamron 17-50 but is slower and more expensive. If you have enough $$$ then I second DTF's idea.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm more into photo at this point, a little video here and there, maybe will get into it more later down the road.

+k to all

24-70 and 70-200 on APS-C is super legit for tripod shooting. For glidecams, you'll want the IS/a wider lens. IF you can only afford ONE lens. 24-105 is super legit, I'm selling mine just because I'm getting a 24-70, check my threads and maybe you'd be interested in that. If I could have 1 lens for my whole life on APS-C, i would do 24-105 for sure
