Dry Socket from the blunt

So I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out two days ago and I ended up smoking the roach/last bit of a blunt last night. I'm a little worried about dry socket symptoms. I tried not to use a lot of suction, which is why I hit the roach, but I'm not sure exactly what the symptoms are. Has anyone had dry socket from this? If so, do you know about how long it took for the symptoms to set in? Because, as of right now, my gums don't hurt much and are just a little(meaning very little) irritated. I also noticed than I still have a little blood in my saliva, which I would assume may be ok because the blood clot can still form. Anyone have advice on this? And I understand obviously that this isn't the best place to ask for medical advice.

My friend smoked after he got his wisdom teeth out too. His eyeballs fell out of the sockets a day later. Good luck op

i smoked a joint a couple days after my wisdom teeth got pulled, i didn't lose all my teeth like the other guys' friend but most of my molars ended up having to get pulled. the symptoms were not at all obvious either

If you're not feeling the symptoms yet, I think you're in the clear

Don't chance it again though, dry sockets ain't nothin to fuck with

got my teeth out a few weeks ago, smoked the day after through my nose. it worked. the day after that i smoked regularly off a doob and just inhaled lightly and i was fine. i had blood in my spit for like 4 days afterwards so that is normal. you should be fine, but continue to be careful with suction for about a week after, or until the doc clears you. I was super worried about it too but i turned out fine

no see the thing you had to do was to hit your weed from a bong, however you have to avoid hitting it from the oral gateway.

the thing you do is you insert the bong into your little pink asshole and absorb the fumes.

the smoke will go directly into your system and get you high as fuck.

good luck

I had a buddy who did something similar, lost most of his teeth. You're screwed. Hope you like dentures.

*OP has a massive panic attack*

Its not just suction the problem. Its the particulates in the smoke that deposits into the socket and infection can set in. My ex roommate started toke a day after the operation and had to get the socket drained and 2 rounds of antibiotics for doing that. The ordeal went from 5 days of pain to 14 excruciating days. I waited until I could open my mouth before toking. That first hit after 5 days, the pain evaporated and life was good again.

when i got my wisdom teeth i just smoked a bunch of weed to get dry sockets on purpose. percocets make dry sockets a non issue. not recommending anyone do this though haha.

but really just make a bunch of edibles/drinkables, and i might be wrong but maybe vaping or dabbing would be a bit less harsh on them.

Why not just inject heroin, better high, no pain, no dry socket. Seems like a win win, it's a no brainer really

OP, you're stupid. Just be sober for a week. It's not hard to not be a complete piece of shit. I promise.

na man, when your doctor says dont smoke or you could get dry sockets, what he really means is dont listen to me, im a doctor.

youll be fine.

Can you see your jawbone? If it is visible, or you are still having pains I would go talk to you dentist. Have them clean and fill it, and take some ibuprofen to ease the pain till it heals.
