anyone play? couldnt decide if this was NSG or media/arts so I put it NSG. (if all else fails..NSG!)

I bought my freinds shit kicker for 20 bucks and a blunt sesh then got all new heads for the toms and a new batter-side head for the kick drum. also got another freinds 70's ludwig snare for free, put a new bottom head and snare on it, and I got a sabian 18" crash/ride (b8 series). I dunno what kind of hi-hats I got just some real shitty sounding ones (which i like). all the shells are premier which isnt a bad deal for 20 bucks plus all the fixins. overall a good cheap first set.

I do, I got a Pearl Export kit, 5 piece with sabian china splash, sabian crash, zildjian dark crash, and pearl ride. All new Remo Heads this year oh an Sabian hats. I gave up on buying stuff for it when I decided to go full out for ski shit

^sounds nice, I was just playing on freinds kits for like a year so I just needed to get my own setup to start working on. I'm slowly saving up to get new shit peice by peice.

I drum too, for a band. Its so much fun, such a good release i think. I am saving for some new drums cause i play some real shitty CB's right now. I think i have them tuned to the best they can sound, evans hydraulics really helped.

yeah my drums are shit, but i put evans g2 coated heads on em all and tuned em up nice so they sound about as good as they ever will. i play for a good 2 hours every day.

really? all the electronics I've tried blow, and everyone I know says they blow. I like the real thing best.

We ercored a whole live demo with one condensor and it turned out suprisingly well. Most songs in one take too lol. Did vocals on a seperate track though.

you have never played roland v-drums...its like playing any set you want
anyways i have played my pearl forum since i started drumming. I have zildjian zbts and remos on all my drums...i have definitely grown out of them but i don't have the cash to upgrade.

v-drums are the greatest invention ever,

i play on my teacher's kit all thetime and it's so much fun becase you can go from techno beats, to hip-hop, to punk, to metal in like 3 seconds just by changing the settings

my main instrument is guitar, but my little brother has a set at home so i play a fair amount of drums. i'm not that great, but it's fun.

Drums seem like a really fun instrument to play. I've only dabbled in them, but I play guitar/bass and a smidgen of piano, and drums always looked like the most fun.

noo way the drums are way easier than harmonica, i can't do a damn thing on the harmonica haha

Keller shells with a Brady snare on the left by the hats. I have a double pedal I just like my iron cobra better :)

I play at school, I live in an apartment so I cant play real drums at home, but Im planning to buy electric drums when I get the money.

i play a pearl vision kit with a joey jordison signature snare. i have paiste 20 hi hats, paiste rude crashes, ride and china, and sabian aax splash and mini china. i have the axis long board double pedals, and use evans G2 skins. I usually only get to play 2-3 times a week for a few hours at a time, shit like work gets in the way. I'll post a pic later tonight.

SOrry about poaching but i have a ridiculously good paiste ride and crash that ive been tryng to sell. If anyones interested, feel free to pm me

Ive been drumming for about 7 years now, but yeaterday i traded my 5pc. maple masters custom and brass free floater snare in for microKorg XL and roland sp-555 ; ( once i make some money ill porbably buy a new kit.
