Anyone have some info on the word that they cant make much snow coz of the lack of rain.

dude, whoeva told u that is talkin outta their arse! Best snowmaking conditions are when there's zero humidity, ie. no moisture - no rain! Of course for the natural shit you need it. I ain't saying though that you can't make snow when its snowing. It all comes down to temp. and humidity.

nah dude i think he means the water in the catchments which fuels the snow guns. i know at the moment selwyn has missed out on some prime snow making oppertunities because they keep running out of water cause of the drought. but they dont really need to rely on man made snow cause they get an average snow fall of about 10 meters a week.

the way the snow has been falling i dont think they will need it. its supposed to snow down to 700m on the weekend or just after, things are off to a great start.

this winter has been crazy sik, and if they have restrictions then they sure are using it all up now. they've been snowmaking basically non-stop.
