Drop In's

I built this drop in a while ago. It looks really steep there but there is a peice that attatches onto the bottom to mellow it out. The ply wood wasn't on it yet and it wasn't done. I've used it a few times and it just doesn't give you enough speed. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make a better drop in. Thanks

wow thats sketchy. start off by not making 2 separate "boxes" and attaching one to the other. it has to be one piece. and then just make the ramp more mellow or however you want it. yours looks too short too, so thats your speed problem.

lessen the angle because, even with the other peice at the end, tou are going to be looding a lot of speed when you hit the flat ground

yeah, it looks like the same as mine. I still don't think that would solve my speed problem. Thanks for the ideas.

wow these are the exact same answers you got in the reginol forums, but any ramp will work, find plans for landings of bixes and such at freerampplans.org
