Drop in troubles. Transition help?

So I have built a five foot tall drop in and a lip that is about 3 feet long and 18 inches high. Although when I tried the drop in I barely had enough speed to get over the edge of the lip. I am using turf. I think the problem is in the transition. Can anyone help with how to build a sick tranny that keeps if not increases my speed.

well theres a couple things u can do. snowfence for the dropin but not the lip is good b/c fence is fast but no control. Make the transition mellower, but not so mellow that you can't pump it. If at all possible u could make handles at the top of your setup to pull off of to get more speed

I have the exact same specs as your drop in. What i did is i went to home depot and got a 4'x8' (1/2 in.) piece of plywood and got it cut in half so its 4x4. I then put on end on the drop in and one end on the ground so the angle changes were changed a lot. Also i put pvc on the drop in horizontally. gimme feedback!

ya that is sick. It looks like you have a lot of speed coming onto the rail. How high is the lip onto the rail? And also, do you feel like you are hitting the ground right after the drop in hard, or is it real mellow?
