Drop In Ramp Plans

i personally think you should have made the top platform a tad bit bigger...i HATE standing on skinny ass drop ramps on slippery boots...sketches me the fuck out cuz i've definately ate shit off one before hahaha

damn, that thing is perfect. anyone claiming it's too steep obviously doesn't understand how much speed you usually need to slay urban. i'm building that, thanks for the plans!

I love the idea for tunezz mods - that would be so sick to have speakers on there so you could just hook up an ipod - ghetto blaster on the ghetto ramp!

fuck dude the threads guysa ramp isnt steep enough at all but i like his idea im makin one with hinges on the initial drop in and on the tranny

sick eh ??

I built this baby last year.

i disassembled mine during the winter, actually my dad forced me to take it apart and now that there's hella sun and no snow i really want it to be built but now the wood is rotten :(

I'd say the main objesctive in a ramp is to have it be light and easy to manuever, which none of those really are I'm guessing, A good ramp doesn't need a beastly platform just small enough to stand on and balance, the smaller=the lighter which is very imortant if you actually go on urban missions that are in dangerous get in get out as fast as you can territory. I'd say a good ramp doesn't need to be more than 4 to 5 feet tall, and you can use those chekcen steps to side step up which saves the necesity of a ladder.

Does the down part of the ramp come loose when your on it?

casue it kinda looks like it could just slide out really easyily

probally around 50, could be less. but if you buy pressure treated wood, it will cost much more (apx 100?) , but will last for much longer. if you dont buy pressure treated wood, make sure when/if you take apart your drop in you make sure to have the wood (espesially (sp) the plywood), leaning against something so it doesnt get soggy due to perciptation, or just cover it with a tarp.

just side step up the front of it. otherwise its sketchy as fuck trying to go up a ladder in your ski boots with your skis in one arm.

i would say look for sca full ding (haha sp?) people throw it out so a dumb might have it

that really made it less expensive for me

and its light and durable
