so i am looking for quick replies and the build a jib can take a while to get a reply in. so im a building a summer setup and have a few questions

1 im going to be using scaffolding for my drop in becuz i have some not being used so should i make it 5ft or 10ft tall

2what should the top material be could i use carpet or is it worth trying to get astro turf should i put orange fencing over top either of them

3what should i use to lubricate the top material

4what angle should the dropin be at

plus k for real answers

1) make it 102)invest in the astroturf if possible

3) you can use soap, water, there are alot of possibilities

4)you probably want it anywhere around 30-45 degrees from the ground

Either 5' tall or 10'? Imbetween there would be ideal, unless you have a hill to work with which 5' tall would work. I'm guessing the scaffolding is in 5' sections? 10' tall is pretty damn high.

Astro turf has been proven to be the best otherr than snowflex shit, but if the drop is 10' tall then u can probably get away with thin carpet. In fact you probably would want carpet to slow you down from dropping 10 feet high.

you dont need the really nice kind of astroturf that they use on playing fields, just got to a hardware store and get indoor/outdoor carpet. its like astroturf that got a buzzcut. poor people put it on their patios for some reason.

also, it up build a jib cult for more questions. there is everything you need to know there.

do 10 feet tall you can step down if you don't want as much speed try maybe 40 degrees for the angle. I think I did 40 on mine not sure though
