Driving through Colorado

You guys are fucking nuts. Seriously. So we're driving along I-70 after like 18 hours in the car driving from Michigan, and it starts raining. So fuck... we know as soon as we start getting higher into the mountains its gonna be snowing and icy. Sure enough, it was snowing heavy wet snow and we were shitting our pants as fucking little cars are blowing by us. I thought I knew how to drive in the snow, being from Michigan, but hell you guys are crazy.

if you want to make the effort drive up to the aspen area. there are closer resorts to frisco then the four aspen mountains however you could hit up the snowmass and buttermilk parks. buttermilk just got done with the xgames and aspen open so the park is insanely sick!

sry for the dub post but you wouldnt actually have to pay aspen prices. you could stay further down valley which would be much cheaper and drive up.

umm if it gets colder, vail would be fun for a day with this snow, but breck and key are always fun if you want to ski park.

Well, I already got the hotel in Frisco. I was thinking A Basin one day and driving the half hour to Vail the other day, weather permitting.

umm, you probably shouldnt have come to summit county then, no offense, but we dont get that much snowfall and have 2 of the best parks in the world. at least you're here midweek, if the snow stays and doesnt turn to rain, abasin should be good, and the pass price there is way cheaper than vail, though vail is always a good time too with fresh snow.

depends on the snow, if we get a bunch go to vail, if you want park go to breck. oh yeah the roads out here are gnar, the stop lights are located in the center of the lane so u know where in the lane you are, dont drive like a texas noob in both lanes it makes me angry.

if you are staying in frisco, theres a summit stage bus line around the place...

its FREE! and it can get you to copper, keystone, breck and a few others...

breck has the best park in summit county, copper normally has a nice pipe...

if you want to shred some steeps, get to loveland, they have great hiking and bowls around there... its just a little ways east along i-70 towards denver from frisco...

have fun mate!

oh, and copper has free cat skiing out the back of the mountain...

"taco" chute is alright if theres freshness about...

the thing is a fuckin death trap...all the features are too close together landings = inruns

go to snowmass the park flows better there

Copper is my favorite mountain if there is no knew snow and I'm not trying to hit park.Abasin is pretty sick but copper has much better terrain
