Drew up some ski concepts

Everything is my own work except for the rocker profiles. The Boner is for the piste and is a top of the line carver as far as freestyle skis go with a medium flex at the tips (6-7) and a stiff flex underfoot (9-10). You can carve harder than a racer and throw a dub in the same lap. The Pipe Gun is for the deepest of days and is meant to surf and slash better than anything. It has a uniform flex of 7 throughout the ski for predictability and smoothness in the pow. It can still rail turns in bounds thanks to its playful turn radius and 1mm of camber. It’s also light enough to be great touring option that wont compromise on the way down. I took inspiration for the Pipe Gun from Gerry Lopez’s 1970s Pipeline gun surfboard (shown below). It was shaped by him under his surf company lightning bolt and was made for surfing at pipeline in Hawaii. Let me know what you think about the concepts and let me know if you would buy one or both of them (and which one?). Let me know what type of ski I should design next.

ya i really want that type of ski to be made but i haven’t seen one yet. it’s a simular concept to the mirus cor and season kin but both those skis are noodles while the boner has serious back bone and can truly charge on hard pack while still feeling comfy in the park with great pop and a nice twin tip.

might be similar to the Simple skis
 
These are sick! You should chase the dream and build some, even if it’s just for yourself.

If you want help on how to go about building your own I’m happy to help point you in the right direction.

How are you going to slap skins on that chunky mutherfuker. The tips are fucking insane. Too much taper or whatever its called.

probably would need a buckle on both ends of the skin.

nah it’s pretty similar to the proportions of other simular tight radius skis. i promise it sounds crazier than it looks. for example line blade has a 95mm waist and a 154mm tip

I’ve been looking for something like that too. I have no idea what the flex profile is like but the fat-y-pus d’vice looks promising
