dread help

ok, so i wanna put dreads in when i go to camp this summer, but i don't wanna have to shave me head when i wanna get rid of them. so if i don't let them set for a whole month like you're supposed to, would i be able to get them out if i really work hard, use lots of conditioner, and all that shit. or once they're in are they in for good?

Welllll... you could give it a try, but I dont really think it would work. if you do 'em good at first, they shouldn't take too long to 'set'. You probably wouldn't have to SHAVE your head, but your hair would be pretty damn short when you cut it. You might get away with cutting the dreads to like, an inch long and THEN going nuts with conditioner

thats exactly what knotty boy is.. 'cept it comes with dread soap, a comb and other stuff. It only costs about $25 CDN

i also wanted dreads but didnt wana shave my head afterwords, so instead i took gel, ive found that bed head stuff like the blue gluey stuff that smells like coconuts works great, and twisted my hair and then rubed the twists with that stuff, it took awhile but came out pretty cool, it lasted for bout a week

If you're not sure, just get corn-rows instead of dreads. Then you don't have to worry about having a hard time getting them out.
