I think i might have a shoulder instability i know i didnt dislocate my shoulder but during the ski season i hyperextended my right shoulder or something it got pulled back but it healed after about a week of stayin off it. now during the summer i have been playing some tennis and i have a pretty big serve, i strained it or something again during my service motion and the pain is still present and it happened in like mid-july. i read some stuff about shoulder instabilities and im hoping i havent torn anything and need surgery and only need physical therapy.

would really apprectiate some help or info if any of you guys have had some sort of similar injury. thanks guys + k to legit answers

sparknotes: might have a shoulder instability not sure if i have anything torn and need surgery or if its something not that bad and only need physical therapy.

=====i know i should have seen a doctor but im out of the country=====

when you served in tennis, what did the pain feel like? like popping, stretching, tearing, twisting, etc.?

it kinda sounds like you have the early signs of a torn labrum. thats what i had, with almost the same symptoms you are having, and it got so bad that i had to have a pretty big surgery to fix all the damage....

it was kind of like a pop out then back in real fast but it wasnt a dislocation for sure.i was at the point in my service motion that the raquet was pointing straight ahead, basically right after making contact with the ball over head.

any other thoughts? i really would appreciate the help

i cant halp you, sorry.
but my patella pretty much does the same thing, and ive had enough with doctors that i can just deal with it.
