im sick of doctors getting blamed for prescribing something a person is helped by, and if they abuse it and die its the doctors fault. people need to grow a fucking brain and know what ur taking, and know not to drink 10 bottles of wine on top of it.

seriously, no hate but if you fuck up you have nobody to blame but yourself

Her death has become a joke, it's pretty sad. I guess in some ways it's deserved, she spent most of her earnings on a glass pipe and died of an overdose...

Dr. Drew wasnt blaming anyone, he was talking about how many "DR's" are becoming enablers by allowing these potential train wreck people to cause train wrecks.

medication if taken correctly is good yes, however it is when these people abuse this medication that problems occur. If i prescribe you one punch in the dick a week, but youre asking for 5, and i give you those 5 dick punches, and on the 5th one, your dick explodes, i am to blame.

orrr, if i perscribe you 50 pills that are supposed to last a month, but you take them all in a week, and then i renew your perscription for more pills damn right knowing that your initial perscription was supposed to last a month, i am enabling you to abuse your medication. however indirect you think that might be, i consider this to be a form of assisted suicide in known drug abusers.

im fairly certain dr.drew knows that he is talking about, so perhaps, maybe it is you who should please shut the fuck up.

dr drew just said tonight that drs are prescribing amounts that if taken correctly as the doctors tell them, they will die.. that is a fucking lie. Unless you take more than the dr says, or drink 2 gallons of alcohol on top of your daily dose, the doctor is blameless.

if a doctor prescribes 60 pills a month with the instructions to take 1 a day for example, than yeah he is an enabler.

but if it takes 10 a day to to treat someone, than the doctor needs to prescribe 10 a day, 300 a month. if the patient does not follow the doctors instructions which would be for example, DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL ON TOP OF THIS COMBINATION and the person ignores the doctors warning, then it is THE PATIENTS FAULT not the doctors. dr drew, youre great for tv, but shut the fuck up.

amsterdam gives free heroin to heroin addicts, and they all go on with theitr lives and have jobs, and a fraction of drug overdose dearhs,

you know theres plenty of people with alcohol problems that tone it down and become responsible drinkers. but you have a point, she was a crackhead. i dont think id give cns depressants to a former crackhead.

anyone who has broken a bone gets painkillers. after this they should be labeled addicts and if they break another bone go to rehab instead of getting more pain killers? that makes 0 sense to me. ive never met a person with an injury who didnt enjoy their painkillers. so everybody who gets injured is an addict.... seriously.
