Dose listening to music make u preform better as u are more relaxed and chilled therefore arnt so worried?

If I ski with friends it doesn't really matter, if I ski by myself music helps me stay concentrated/hyped and try stuff. Also it feels like I'm skiing in a movie segment or an edit haha.

If you listen to music while you ski you will inherit the skiing abilities of Tom Wallisch

Put on the headphones and triple corks become second nature.

I heard if you listen to WuTang, Henrik's spirit will merge with your own and you'll murder every feature with miraculous steez.

Its true, I do this on my summer setup as well.

I find it lets you not over think things and let your body's natural instincts take over which are usually right.

music helps me so much, especially if its pump up/rap. it just makes me feel good and makes me send and huck stuff i normally wouldnt do. bottom line... music helps a ton

yes in most cases but you never want to over dose on music while skiing. ive heard its worse than crystal meth

At least for me, music clears my mind. I tend to over think and let fear get to me and hold me back. But when I listen to music I can focus on that and skiing instead of focusing on fear and skiing.

So does it make me ski better? No, I do that part. It just helps to get me in the mindset that allows me to throw down.

The Crystal Method are actually really good.

i don't know how it is for other guys, but good music get me pumped only before dropinn. When im skiing im focus on skiing and what happening that i can't hear music.Maybe sometimes just beat but thats it.Anyway it pump me up before run so i say "yes" it helps me.

P.s. Sorry for my bad english

If I am the least bit high it completely fucks me up. I'll be jamming to some Tupac, completely forget I'm skiing, then be like " Holy shit I'm in the air and there is a snowboarder beneath me...SHIT".

gamechanger. i worry about things too much when i dont have music in, but i just say fuck it and do it, when i am listening to music. makes me a better skiier.

I listen to political propoganda radio while skiing

I'm surprised NPR can keep you going on the mountain.

In general my music will keep me stoked but in the end it won't make me any better.

If Waka comes on you know youre going to the Gucci plat. Idk if that makes you better though.

U got dat right BRICKKKKKSQUADDDDDDDDDDD

But I find that listening to certain genres helps set my mind to what kind of skiing im trying to do. Like reggae is for pow days when I'm just cruising n bein more chill. Rap is for when I'm finally go hard in da park n do gangster shit wit ma homiezz

talked to this dude who was a snowboard competitor in the early 00's who said, when he was hitting the pipe for practice he would be listening to some pumping ass music. But when i was competing, he would put on some calm music since he was already fucking pumped up because.. competition? and that helped him calm the nerves.

So i guess no, music didn't make him ski better.. but he won some snowboard medals i think

Yes it is scientifically proven that wearing 7 layered 7xl tall tees and listening to ghetto hood hyphy music, you can inrease your trick stomping abilities by circa 20-35 %.

I find listening to music distracting. A two beer buzz accomplishes this for me.
