K2 entity. I like the vents! I didn’t even know that K2 made helmets. Anyone have experience with them? Also wtf is that strap on. The helmet near the back?

the army helmet/bad Lt style isn't my cup of tea personally. but those straps just look like a different approach to goggle straps, which are traditionally on the very back of the helmet. just keeps your goggles attached and not drooping

looks like the top one is made to open and close (attach/re-attach) and the bottom one is bolted on (my guess is that one could be taken off too if you wanted tho)

I just took a look at the physical product.

The top is attached with a button snap and the bottom is riveted on. You could remove the strap but you'd have to cut it off.

I’m prett sure there are others that look similar and dont have the wierd strap. (I wear my googles under my helmet anyways, I dont need it.)
 
As someone who grew up around Giro Bad Lieutenant helmets during the pre-thug days I have a certain nostalgia for this style. Make sure you get some bullet hole stickers to complete the look.
 
I have a very very similar k2 helmet and I think it’s pretty sick other than the huge k2 decal on the side. Comes with lots of adjustability which I love and is lightweight. I never had that weird google strap on the side tho.
 
That is one of our Jr Helmets. That is why the goggle straps are on the side as it makes it harder for kid to loose the goggles over the back.

That's actually a really good idea for kids helmets.

Looks pretty dope. Personally I like the army helmet style a lot. One time I wore an actual army helmet to the hill for shits and giggles.
