I'm tied up legally here.
Though I can be certain that the bullpen security guy was most pleased with that hit.
Though I don't know what the hell has been happening. 4 years without a single field intruder, and suddenly in the past season we've had at least 6. Including the famous football at fenway hit. Though this one was definitely a bigger hit.

Ha there isn't much to be missed, i guarantee you.
I can say that I was NOT the security guard who brought him down. I'm not high enough on the hierarchy to be part of the field sec. team yet. I'm still doing the fun work, dealing with drunks etc.
but suffice to say, Fenway is not a place to run on the field. There is no containment policy or anything. If you go out on the field...expect a visit from the friendly folks in blue.

It never ceases to amaze me how drunk people get inside the park, despite $8 beers. Aramark must make ridiculous profit off baseball stadiums.
marathon monday was ridiculous. Imagine explaining to people that you got kicked out of fenway at 9 30am, 1.5hrs before the game started....for being too drunk.
