Hey. We just drove down from MTL to Jay for their big storm dump but
temps rose and it's a rain day. Don't believe the hype. The website is
a bit of a farce at the moment. It rained on top of heavy pow, total
cement, and fuck all is open. We checked at 6:30am when we left and it
was all good and arrived to rain. I'm never that impressed when resorts
fuck you around on the weather and wasn't quite expecting that from
Jay, but hey, I guess they were disappointed too. They do have a
discount price but $39 ain't much when as a student it's already $40.
They wouldn't do a deal on mountain to ski park only. They say they
have 3 chairs open but really it's only the t-bar and the two triples.
So yah... stay away from Jay, the weather is shit, and they aren't
being that sympathetic to people driving in a few hours. We turned
around and left -- like everyone else.
