Hey. We just drove down from MTL to Jay for their big storm dump but temps rose and it's a rain day. Don't believe the hype. The website is a bit of a farce at the moment. It rained on top of heavy pow, total cement, and fuck all is open. We checked at 6:30am when we left and it was all good and arrived to rain. I'm never that impressed when resorts fuck you around on the weather and wasn't quite expecting that from Jay, but hey, I guess they were disappointed too. They do have a discount price but $39 ain't much when as a student it's already $40. They wouldn't do a deal on mountain to ski park only. They say they have 3 chairs open but really it's only the t-bar and the two triples. So yah... stay away from Jay, the weather is shit, and they aren't being that sympathetic to people driving in a few hours. We turned around and left -- like everyone else.
 
Hey I should mention that I wrote Jay about it and they were super sweet about the whole deal and offered us free tix and a night in the Lodge. Very very nice.
 
well i dont know how that is possible considering they only have one triple. They would have run thier high shit but it was windy as fuck.
 
unless I am mistaken I believe there is a triple chair beside the quad (gondola side) and a triple far, far left on the mountain. unless that's also a double? i never pay attention.
 
no the one on tram side is the metro quad. Jay always has wind problems. That y im glad i live close.
