Domain These Kai pro Lab002

after my first thread and a lot of research i have adjusted my choices a little. im looking for something that will be very poppy, light, with a md soft- md flex, i mostly hit rails but i still need the ski to hold up on 60ft jumps when i need them to price isnt really that big of a deal, my riding style is similar to Kai Keprela or cole drexler's if that helps at all. Also just a review of any of these skis would be great +k for that

so I guess something was un-clear about "list below". what im trying to say, is that if you think I should go with something other then what I have listed then reply and tell me what you're thinking! +K thanks

I'd go with the lab 002, it's fully camber so it can rip groomers but it will also have tons of pop, while the domain and kai pro are both rocker flat rocker, which will be great for rails and tons of fun they won't have any pop. I'd also look at either the halo 2's or Al Dente's both poppy and buttery although the Al Dente has problems with durability.

The Al Dente's really aren't poppy at all. I felt like they were very dead. Similar to K2's. Also, Halo 2's aren't poppy either and are fairly heavy and it feels like you are on some cardboard as far as snap and pop goes. The K2's are pretty fun and have more flex to them which I thought was too much, so I wouldn't consider those for hitting anything bigger than 40, but of course you can if you really want. THe These I have no information on, and the Kai Pro's are in a whole other category from the skis that I have ridden.

They actually do ha

have a decent amount of pop and they are incredibly snappy.

THe snap actually gives you some pop honestly. THese skis are not as soft as advertised either. They were meant to be capable of doubling 100 footers and they can definitely do just that. They do have rocker that really isn't noticeable for rails as much as it is for getting over slush. They also have the best edge hold I have ever seen of a park ski, excluding the Ace of Spades which they are about on par with for carving.

YOu can absolutely flex them, but you do have to put some effort in. They are definitely my favorite ski I have ever tried so far.

When i rode the Al Dente's and Halo's over in Japan last summer, i liked both skis but maybe that's because I hardly pop on jumps anyways. Yeah I know i should pop and shit but it's like habit for me to carve off a jump and hardly pop unless it's a bigger jump (30 ft plus).

I am an my second pair of domains after my first snapped( Stupid under rotated backfilp into straight slush, completely my fault) and i can only say positive things about them. They are super freaking fun in the park and on the mountain. Despite being fully symmetrical, these skis can rip down grommers with ease. They preform well in up to 4 inches of fresh due to there rocker/flat/rocker profile, but after that they sink. On rails they are amazing as they don't ever catch on surface swaps or butters and have a fairly good swing weight. On jumps they can definitely preform on the bigger jumps, but you have to put some more effort into landing if you don't want to wash out, due to the fact that they are so soft. As far as durability of these skis goes, in my first 17 days on them, i didn't get a single edge crack, however in the next 7 days i got 4 small edge cracks that don't show any signs of pulling out any time soon( My mountain doesn't have any jumps so i ski only rails, and they are gritty and rusty as fuck). Overall if you are looking for a soft playful park ski that can still shred the mountain the domains are the way to go.
