Doing the 09 Season in either Breckenridge or Crested Butte, can't decide

After doing a ski season in the European resort of Tignes I have decided to skip across the pond. Using my only two contacts in the US I have been putting in much time for finding jobs research. The long and the short of it is that I have found two appropriate, and similar jobs in Crested Butte and Breckenridge. The only decision is which resort to go for.
Both friends say their resort is better - Crested Butte for powder, Breckenridge for park. Having never been to either, I have no real idea. However, being on newschoolers means I would at least like to see a bit o park action over the season.
Which one would you go for?

Butte, the terrain is awesome and if u REALLY need some park u can travel to any of the other resorts.

Butte's park is shaping up...this year was amazing, next year is gonna be even better. I couldnt ski Breck every day. ITs way too flat overall, too many people....If you wanna ski a gnarly mountain with some of the most chill skiers you'll ever ski with...then CB. Summit is so busy busy busy all the time. Find some videos from Trickstaj14 to see our park. Good luck on your decision.

I've never been to Breck, but Crested is really sick. The park is actually pretty nice (obviously not as nice as breck...) and the steeps are awesome.

those videos are sick! the park is so much more than I could have imagined! Maybe its just the standard step up between the US and Europe!
Thread ended, case closed! p.s. newschoolers is unbelievable!

If you're gonna be broke and want dope terrain, CB. Super good, free transportation everywhere. You can live in Gunnison and take the free bus (40 min ride) back and forth to work. Good snow sticks around there for a while, even though they don't get a ridiculous amount. When it's skied off, there are a lot of guys to go AT with. And the resort is nearly empty, even on weekends.

Be careful if it's a resort job. I knew a bunch of kids from South America who were promised jobs, got there, and were told to go home because there was no work. At CB, they cut a bunch of part time patrollers and cut back on full time patrol overtime.
