I have two border collies, definitely a dog person but I like cats too. I help run a foster kitten program through my school and I take in baby kittens and adopt them out. Then again, the kittens grow up with my dogs so they kind of become dog-like too....hm maybe that's why I like them so much?

dogs and cats are each chill, all depends on the animal itself.
overall though cats are a lot chiller, you can't just leave your dogs for a day or two.
