I also got a pair of head oblivion 84 around the same time and one tail is snapped of and the sidewall and base are coming off. Am I just unlucky or do I need to stop shredding as hard.

I ask as there seems to be a mark on the front of the boot from what I’m guessing is the toe of the binding and there seems to be a crack coming from that exact point. May be totally unrelated but when we see issues like this it’s always good to dig into and see if we can identify what is causing problems and what we can do better.

I know the topsheets on my oblivion 84s are super brittle and chip just from looking at them but the rest of the ski is pretty thick/durable. Did you get into massive crash and break the boots and skis all at once?
14593015:tomPietrowski said:Yeah looks like the toe piece of the binding pushed into the boot really hard in that impact and cracked the shell. I would not tell them this or show them when you talk to warranty, remember just skiing along![]()
