Does this happen a lot or am I just hard on gear.

I got a pair of Dalbello panteras brand new about 2 weeks ago and they have shattered and are non functional. I also got a pair of head oblivion 84 around the same time and one tail is snapped of and the sidewall and base are coming off. Am I just unlucky or do I need to stop shredding as hard.

What bindings are you using? I ask as there seems to be a mark on the front of the boot from what I’m guessing is the toe of the binding and there seems to be a crack coming from that exact point. May be totally unrelated but when we see issues like this it’s always good to dig into and see if we can identify what is causing problems and what we can do better.

I’m using pivot 15 gw. Im pretty sure I mounted them right. I also cracked the boots during a crash

can’t speak on the boot but my oblivion 94s have been some of the most durable park skis i’ve had. but if your crashing often like you did in that video than it’s you and not the gear. did the oblivions brake in that crash as well?

Your just to good and need to let the equipment progress until you can start again.

Maybe these equipment failures can be your inspiration to make your own company.

Might've just gotten unlucky with manufacturing defects or something. Brand new boots exploding is kinda crazy. Did the topsheet crack or the whole tail. I know the topsheets on my oblivion 84s are super brittle and chip just from looking at them but the rest of the ski is pretty thick/durable. Did you get into massive crash and break the boots and skis all at once?

Yeah looks like the toe piece of the binding pushed into the boot really hard in that impact and cracked the shell. I would not tell them this or show them when you talk to warranty, remember just skiing along :)

Nah the skis broke the next day just skiing all mtn. The entire core is snapped and wiggly and the only reason the tail is still on is because of the ptex flexing

Ya man I was just skiing along enjoying my sunny day and BOOM my fucking boot exploded like a fire cracker in Jason Pierre Paul’s hand.

i’m gana say you damaged the cores badly in that crash and the skis are starting to fall apart because of it. it makes sense.

Naaa, telling warranty "you were just skiing along doesn't work". You have to gaslight them into sponsoring you.

Tell em you were throwing dubs and trips every hit, 6s offs and you were fired up. The boys just rolled up with the cams and the drones. Park crew got out and raked rails and re-groomed the booters just for you. You drop in, land a quad cork, and then it happens, as your riding to the next booter to throw a unnatty quad. Pop your big toe is sticking out. Then send em clips.
