Does the type of binding help with butters?

So I have the 2014-15 al dentes with marker griffon bindings and I can butter quite well but I have heard that with rossignol fks and look pivot bindings transfer the energy from binding to ski better because of how they are designed. Can anyone fill me in on what they think and what may or may not be true. +k for legit responses.

fks has a smaller footprint because it doesnt have a heel track like other bindings, not sure that would improve your butters at all.

will wesson uses markers and look at his butters. keep your bindngs and keep some blends

A good fitting boot is gonna help you more than anything. A lot of people don't realize the impact of a snug fit, especially on butters.

The only impact bindings have on ski performance is that on most bindings the ski can't flex underfoot. It's kind of a non issue if you never skied on any integrated system like a lot of rec skis have. Really shouldn't affect anything except a small amount carving performance.

this so much

i know i may be alone on this but i actually think having stiffer boots helps with butters. you want your skis to be soft obviously but i find you can transfer more power to them with stiffer boots.

Yes they effect it but so minimally youd be an idiot to get bindings because of butters. Basically if a binding has a plate or takes up space on a ski that area won't be able to flex as much. But it really doesn't matter.
