Its funny because the more snowboarders try to keep up with skiers in rotations and corks, the more lame and sketchy they look.

No hate or anything, just comfy.
 
im confused as to what ur saying here

a quad was thrown in snowboard big air

no quad was thrown in ski big air

doesnt seem like boarders are trying to keep up cause the first quad cork was on a snowboard not skis

On skis looks like butter.

On a snowboard looks like the boarder is having a siezure.

Thats your opinion. And a shitty one, because....

The whole point of extreme sports is to make highly athletic feats look effortless and fun.

There is nothing effortless and fun looking about the snowboard big air attempts that recently took place.

It makes it look totally un fun when almost every pro hucks their tits off and washes out on the landing.

Looks like something nobody would ever do for fun.

The whole point of style is to make it look so easy to do that you look like youre doing it for fun.

Think of vanulars rodeo disasters in Long Story Short.

To ignore style is to ignore the most interesting and enduring aspect of extreme sports.

The boarders taking part in the Big Air event, and other competitions, are doing so because snowboarding is their passion and they're having fun.

They don't really give a fuck if someone thinks it's lame, they're doing what they enjoy.

Looks like something that's super fun if you can do it.

bruh, did you not see that like 2 or 3 snowboarders weren't taking it seriously and doing like frontfilps, methods, and 5s? Not gonna lie, Those guys alone made that the sickest big air comp I've ever seen. It makes wish a few skiers would take a step back and just throw straight crowd pleasers. I know its awesome to shoot for gold and all, but a laid out dub backflip or Henriks rodeo 1 that he attempted in Norway a few years ago would really get the crowd going.
