Does ripping the chair line bring out your finest skiing skills?

hell yes! i love hearing a crowd cheering me on, and i have always performed at my peak in sports when pressure was on me.

first time i ever got cheered was shredding under the main lift at targhee on a sleeper pow day. Most everything was skied out by that point, but i saw a line of like 30 short turns that could be made by hopping from island to island of untouched and just ripped it getting chest shots the whole way at like 3pm. Made me feel good.

Fuck that was a sick video, Andrew always sending it so fucking hard. That cliff looked perfect though, such a nice take off and landing. I definitely lost when he hit the pole and it was like "+1"

Skiing under the lift line makes you feel like the fucking man though, especially on a powder day. Charge so hard muh'fuckas wanna find me.

that was amazing :)

lift lines definitely push me to charge faster and cleaner + the hollering is encouraging :)

Yea that's it. Nightmare's especially scary because you can't see your landing until you actually ski off the cliff, but it's way fun.

haha man this thread cracks me up so hard.

I always either: perform my best under the chairlift, eliciting hooting and chicks screaming "omg!" or; absolutely kill myself and pick up my yardsale in shame and pain.

One time I was cruising switch down this groomer so fast it would literally shock you...im pretty heavy so I can ski switch as fast as some of the skittle kids can ski regular. It was right after I tuned my skis for the first time in months...caught an edge and just exploded into a colorful waterproof fabric mushroom cloud. On perfect packed powder corduroy. That got some laughs and gasps as well.

Go to Kicking Horse on a pow day. Hit Rockstar or Pride Rock (cliffs under gondola near the top). After that, go and charge down Show Off. That is one of my favourite lines.

Heeeell ya. Supermodel on Goats Eye at Sunshine Village is fun cause it's always so variable, massive moguls, and narrow as hell. Rarely do people even ski that whole line, never, ind charge it. It's a burner!

Yes. When I went to killington a few weeks ago (1st and only time there so far) there was this mogul run near the lift, and a real mogul couse was fenced off in the middle so there was this skinny line on the side of the fence. I guess I did it well cause I got cheers from the lift. So I continued to rip down it.

I got pressured by people on the lift into doing that drop last year at Jackson. I normally don't notice people on the lif though so most of the time it doesn't make a difference.

mind you i dont normally do this. but whenever i break a pole ill go a day or couple without em.
