is the magnetraction thing bullshit or are they actually good skis
im trying to decide between those or the 4frnt msp's but i dont know what to go with

dunno bout the skis but my buddy had a magnetraction board and hated it and got rid of it after 2days riding.

go for 4frnts dude

ive demoed them, and i thot magne traction was pretty sick. the "waves" are really small and dont get too much in the way. however, i thot the flex was weird and there wasnt that much pop. also, there kinda weird for pretzels, brokens etc. some people like em but id defintely demo them 1st

i dunno who the snow boarder was that hated them but everyone who has demoed a mange traction board in the shop i work in has loved it.

i own a pair of the nas skis from this year, and i really like them. i got them near the end of the season so i didnt have to much ice to test them on, but from what i could find it really did seem to hold better, what are you using them for, i didnt really use them on days i was riding a lot of park only because i was content with only beating up 1 pair of skis, i will be bring them out to coc next week though

they are pretty stiff, which i liked while i was riding all mountain, i can let you know after next week for sure as i only got a couple of days on them this year....

i've heard the libtechs had some sidewall problems/weaknesses cause of the wavy edges. and IMO 4frnts are kinda meh. so i'd pick some different skis altogether.

magnetraction does not affect you on rails.

they do hold your edge a bit better and waves are really minor.

lib-techs sidewalls and edges also are different from every other company.

i have beat the shit out of mine and no cracks, splits, delam or anything.

yes they are a bit stiff, but i feel that there plenty poppy.

i like them.

and whatever snowboarder ditched his board in 2 days, is crazy.

I've heard they are stiff as hell
the magnetraction is said not to catch on rails, but i can't imagine doing a broken grind or pretzels, etc on 'em...

holy shit dude, go with the libs for shure, i have a pair of NAS and they are super light, durable, the spin is amazing, the magnetraction keeps and edge like no other, and rails feel no different than before, buy the libs. and upgrade this year for the 09 series, they have bananna technology.
