Does it annoy anybody else that when you say "the house" in a thread it's hyperlinked?

I always get a kick out of it.

it takes you to a wakeboarding site if I'm not mistaken?
 
it does the same with Tramdock (or at least it did for a while)
It's a different type of advertising, and one that NS probably gets a good amount of money for, it's really not that annoying.
 
isnt it because the house is an affiliated site with newschoolers or one of its partners> im pretty sure there used to be an ns store on the house site...
 
Yea but imagine if every company started doing that, and not only on NS but on other forums. It'd be really fucking annoying.
 
well i took the tram up to my place ontop the mountain and got out on the tramdock, then i had to traverse through the backcountry to the house.

i really dont care if ns does these ads for a couple words like the house, i think its kinda funny. I just hope they dont become one of those sites with a billion links

The house is a board shop near my house. It has about 150 different snow boards and about 5 skis.

If you don't have room to put the name of the person you are quoting and actually maybe put the quote in a context for us, then how about removing all of the other stupid shit in there.

i was reading a thread with ghost stories and shit, and it had about 300 hyperlinks when they were in the house. i thought it totally ruined the vibe
