Does center mounting scratches weaken them?

Yea so basically i am jsut wondering willl it be easier for the ski to break if i centermount them?

Already used teh seearch barf so don't bitch about that.

no, you'll be perfectly fine. unless they have been mounted before and the back holes are directly behind the center mounts. even in that case you should still be fine if they are plugged properly.

The material that you are mounting into on the scratch is consistent underfoot. Meaning that where you mount your bindings will only affect how the ski performs, not the strength.

Depends on the ski. Take for example our bandit ski, center mounting one of those and you may rip a binding out, because the binding plate in the ski does not go as far forward. Yet, our scratch has a mounting plate that is much larger, so you can actually mount that ski anywhere you want, with no issues. mount where you choose on a scratch.
