Does anyone here play STEEP?

Does anyone here play the game STEEP by Ubisoft? I find it to be pretty fun despite it's many flaws and glitches. It's fun to be able to go ski in real life, then come home and ski in a video game too.

no. nobody else on this skiing website plays the biggest skiing came to come out in 10+ years.

Real talk though I do play, you on PS4 or Xbox?

Haha, I was surprised I didn't see any topics about it. I'm on PC.

This is utter blasphemy. Skate 1-3 are all much much better games than steep on every conceivable level aside from graphics/lighting and particle effects. Skate 2 and 3 have held my attention for nearly a decade, steep had me for maybe two weeks. The mechanics and "weight" of steep just don't feel very satisfying and addictive like skate does.

Hey man don't get me wrong skate is the shit, but it just doesn't get me there like steep does. Different strokes man.

haven't played snow but I've had a decent amount of fun on steep. I like how you can go into mountain view and plan out an actual line while also being able to huck 8 backflips into a flat landing.

They do need to fix that flat landing bullshit.

I like this too. You can make it as realistic as you want. Making it real is quite the challenge sometimes and it can keep it really interesting

Yea I have it on xbox one. I played it a ton when I first got it, but I haven't touched it in a while. It's a very fun game but gets kind've boring since i haven't gotten to actually go skiing in a while

Completely agree. Plus the complex trick combinations that are possible in Skate 3, and also the park editor. If Steep had some sort of terrain park editor, that'd be rad.

Steep is great high as fuck, otherwise it gets a bit repetitive for me.

true.

all these new free roam action sports games that have been coming out recently are trying their hardest to be skate, but just can't seem to get it right.
