Does anyone else feel the same way?

Bro, who the fuck cares? Are you trying to single out Goepper or what? Sure it might be a little lame, but would you do me a favor and post the rest of the competitor list as well?
 
I would be beyond stoked if I was at a comp and goepper showed up, how sick is it to get the opportunity to compete against such an insanely talented skier?

As you can see, we have a good amount of x-games athletes and other professional riders on this list. Consider the fact that they enjoy the event as a whole, and aren't simply competing to milk the system. Furthermore, the athletes worked hard for the skills they have regardless of their past accomplishments, just because they won X-Games it doesn't mean they get handed a medal. Without riders of this caliber competing against ams there'd be no motiviation for those young ams to work harder.

 
Wow I was not expecting all of the hate. I have nothing wrong with Nick G or or any other skier on that list but when the Dumont Cup started, it was an AM event that encouraged young kids to try to break into the freeskiing competition scene. If I got the opportunity to compete in a competition like the Dumont Cup I would be disappointed to see the entire roster dominated by athletes who are already at least somewhat pro. It eliminates an opportunity for young aspirants to achieve their professional skiing dreams.
