Dodge Beer

I don't know if any of you have played this, but it's probably the best drinking game out there. High activity, exciting, excruciatingly funny after a few games... I found a quick description online:

"Fair warning, dodge beer is VERY competitive! Two teams of 3-4 players

compete in a race to see who can finish their cans of beer faster. Each

team stands on opposite ends of a large table with a beer can in front

of them. Team members should set their beer cans up at equal distances

apart across their side of the table. To start the game, all team

members should simultaneously open their beer cans. Like beer pong, one

team will start first. Each team member will shoot a ping pong ball

across the table trying to hit a beer can on the opposite side. If a

beer can is hit, the person who shot the ball will need to start

chugging their beer as quickly as possible while the other team members

retrieve the ball as quickly as possible. The person may keep chugging

the beer until the person whose can was hit places the ping pong ball

on top of the can and says, stop. The person must stop chugging or a

penalty can be called, and the person whose can was hit may take a chug

of their beer. After all team members have shot, it is the other teams

turn. Unlike beer pong, this games objective is to have your team

finish the beer first. So, create a good defensive strategy, and figure

out how to get a good bounce off of the cans! This game is fast paced,

and requires LOTS of drinking!"

We played it like that except:

-the cans, or bottles stay closed until it is time for the thrower to chug. it's more fun seeing someone stumble with a bottle opener or forget to open it and get stopped before even opening it.

-We just put our hands over our cups and bottles instead of trying to place it on a can... but if you all are playing with cans, balance it on the top of the can.

-It says it in there, but make sure the person whose drink was hit at least has a hand on the other retrievers hand to say stop. If the person is way off somewhere else, the thrower can keep chugging.

Anyways, I recommend outdoors because it's a bit more open and falling on hard floors hurts. You will be falling about after a few rounds... Seriously a fun game, try it out the next party you're at. You'll be surprised how much fun it is.

I hate that game. when I'm playing a drinking game I'm trying to relax, not scramble all over the place.

Sounds like a variation of what I know as Drunk Ball.

It's a fun game and gets real intense real quick, which can lead to fun times, basically the same rules but it's only 2 teams of 2. and 2 cans of beer placed next to each other in the middle of a table instead of on the corners (another version I've played) when you hit the opposing teams beer, you open yours and begin drinking until they return it to your half of the table and say stop. You win when your beers are done.

see I like games where it gets competitive especially when it's battle of the sexes night.
