...ninthward will get invited back to the orage masters next season???? i was thinking about it today and i think what they did last time was a little immature but i think they deserve another shot. what would skiing's corest comp do without its corest company? your thoughts.
 
didnt the start shit with other teams, like throw beer cans at other riders and stuff like that
 
they gave every other team team a 0 and  gave themselves 10s and shit, but its an anticomp anyway so i dont know why people  where so bothered
 
ya, but thats kinda why it was so lame. its meant to be about good vibes and havin fun, and ninth were just being lame and hating on the other companies. in any case hasn't it been binned or was it just cancelled this year only?
 
just cause youre broke and a bunch of assholes doesnt make you core.

Put out your product, and support the industry that gave you life, dont exploit it.

i agree. it's supposed to be a non-comp, so i dont think it's that big of a deal. (still a terrible company though)

the bigger question is, do you think the orage masters will exist next year?
 
no, it is a big deal. there were legit prizes on the line (new snowmobile, plasma tvs, etc) and they gave teams like salomon a zero just to be dicks. they also were throwing beer cans at people, talking shit to everyone, and acting like asses all around. it was embarassing to witness.

it is supposed to be a fun contest but also competitive and they turned it into a mess. after seeing all of it i decided that they are a lame company (soon to be "were a lame company" because I hear they are going under as Campbell's trust fund is running out quick)

 
i really hope so. definitely my favorite comp, although the JOI format is pretty cool too. now that newschoolers has all this financial backing perhaps we could help sponsor it?

Haha. This was THE most controversial topic on NS. I think he's just bringing it back for just that.... controvery. And There wasn't an Orage Masters this year.... but I HOPE there is one next year. If Ninthward fronts the money it costs to have a team I don't see anyone telling them "no".
