Do you think skiing will see another major evolution?

As an aspiring professional cinematographer I always like to dream about where our sport will go next.

True powder skis and rocker totally changed the way that we ski and see terrain on the mountain, it opened tons of doors and progressed skiing to what was previously unimaginable. While progression on the snow will no doubt continue, I can't imagine what evolution of style or technology could possibly push the sport as a whole as far. I'm sure at the end of the day there will be something though!

Do you guys think skiing will see another renaissance? In what areas of the sport do you think it might happen?
 
poles will be skis and skis will be poles we'll be skiing on our hands then which helps when going upside down casue then you'll be normal agian and thats what all the kids are doing noone will use their legs anymore with electric cars and virtual reality the switch will happen after the 2022 olymmpics when kim jong un wins gold silver and bronze in big air and slopestlye he will also not use poles at all cause hes not a goon but other people might time will tell really you heard it here first though

Most companies have no interest in making a skiblike that because they do not sell. I would say around 95% of skier can’t handle charging skis as they are now
 
i think that telemark could be the next big thing that takes off, its old but resorts are getting more crowded and the BC is on the rise
 
I want to see park skiers do more things outside of the park, moguls, sidebooters, rollers, etc. Shred it all.

I can honestly see skiing going backwards (in a good way though), every talks about the glory days of park skiing, the gangster shit we all know and love. Well if we all know and love it so much, who's to say we won't start to go back to the good ole days? It'll be different obviously, but I can see skiing headed in that general direction, it just might take a while. History repeats itself, and it might be time that skiing will too, who knows!?

This is the real answer. Supreme and streetwear are next and already getting in skiing. Just look at Wacko
 
A bunch of pro skiers and snowboarders from around the world are going to hold a summit where they will finally sign a treaty uniting the two sports. Mono skiing is the future
 
The next skiing evolution will occur when people from all backgrounds start skiing more Yeah there’s a small minority of skiers of color but that’s really small. the sport is almost entirely dominated by caucasians and I just have the slightest feeling that if we started seeing more P.O.C in the sport we’d see more talented athletes, we’d see another renaissance of style and technicality(not to be racist but naturally athletic blacks would probably dominate the sport). Diversity will lead to a new era, more cash flow, and all around greatness.

That's not happening. Skiing is just getting richer and more expensive every year.
 
Skiing will most definitely see a change

No more quads triples or even doubles

We will see style progress to epic proportions

The cinqo as I like to call it will be the refresh skiing needs

Oh and nollies... lots and lots of nollies
