Do you think america should open its borders with europe, the same way it is in the eu?

i think one of the coolest things about europe is that in the eu, you can go live or work wherever you want. someone from scotland can go live in chamonix. its pretty easy to get residence permits as a us citizen if ur not a criminal,

but for the general population of americans, mexico is to the us-----as the us is to europe.

doesnt that seem ridiculousl that americans dont have the same rights as our british cousins? i mean seriously its easy to get into europe, just like its easy to hop the fence into texas, but its kind of embarrassing in my opinion, we are supposed to be the greatest nation on earth, but we are just like mexicans in a way.
 
wait, are you saying americans would want to move to mexico? Im not saying that its not nice but im from Canada, The american government makes mexico seem really shitty so no one goes there and so the general population doesn't like the mexicans.

thats my point, america isnt like that. you got the feds and dea telling the whole country what they can and cant do, and in europe you have countries which make their own laws completely independent of eachother. if you are an eu citizen, you have so much more choice than you do in different states in the us.

i mean americans who would want to move to europe. its not a problem if you have some cash, i think its stupid america doesnt have open borders with the eu. mexico of course has to evolve before we can tear down the wall, the eu has borders to keep out middle easterners just like we do with mexico.

so america and the eu are like clubs. but i dont understand why the eu and america shouldnt at least have open borders. im not saying the us should join the eu. but if i want to be a lifty at tignes or laax, or zermatt, why shouldnt we be able to just cross borders?
 
Guy I know it's non ski gabber but come on. I look at your thread titles and all it looks like you want to do is spark up conversations with NS members. I mean there have to be more insightful forums about politics and whatever the fuck else you talk about on the internet, which makes me surmise that the only real reason you are making so many threads is to 1) be a post whore, and 2)tout your apparent prowess and demonstrate how much you know about issues and random topics. Cool, it's NS, Nobody really cares that much.
