Do you own an iPod touch? How do you like it.

my buddy skied with his touch all year and it never broke. took some decently hard falls as well. they say not to but just get a hard case and it will be fine.

and i just got one with my mac and i fucking love it watching moives the screen is huge adn the touchscreen is mad sick adn i just put a screen protector on the screen and back so it wont scratch if i ever want to sell it
 
if you want a sturdy, awesome music/video/radio player with a big screen and pretty cool features, get the Zune 80, i have one. if you would find the web and extra gadgets useful and think its worth the money, get the touch. but i like the zune, and for the price, its pretty hard to beat.
 
that was the original plan, to get a zune, because its cheaper, has a huge screen and more space, as well as supports normal video formats. But I think the thing with the touch is that its so much more than an mp3 and video player. With the browser and wifi its almost a mini computer, and the apps are all super cool. I haven't even put music on it yet, and i've had it for 5 days.

i doubt prices on the old ones will lower, because if an 8 gb touch becomes 1999 then nanos would be like 50 bucks...
 
$225CDN a decent price for a brand new 8gb one? Its local so no shipping charges or anything...
 
Ive been thinking about getting one also. I would get the 8 gb but i dont know if that is big enough. the 16gb one is too expensive for me. I dont know if Im going to get the ipod touch or ipod classic.
 
umm basically its amazing i love mine the only downside is i wish i had more memory i have the 8, get the 32 if you get one, i have mad ski vids on mine, but i have more i could put on but no space :( battery life is great, plus it does fit speakers
 
I got an 8g touch free with my macbook pro for college, but i just gave it to my dad because i figured my blackberry could get internet, and my classic has way more room anyway.
 
If anyone else is in this guys situation, please sell your 'extra' ipod to me! Its free for you guys who purchase an apple computer correct?
 
i downloaded some apps yesterday but I'm at work right now so I havent had the chance to try them out yet. I got monkey ball($10), pandora radio(free), and some dj mixer app(free), so i'm waiting to try them out when i get home. I'm mainly interested in the games, because a good game developer could make some sick games in the future
 
nope, no msn yet. But what you can do is go to www.meebo.com in safari and use it there, I did that for aim a couple times and it works great.

you can check out all the apps if you have the latest version of itunes and visit the store
 
I just found out crash bandicoot 3D was out, so i'm def gonna get that, as well as this sweet physics game called enigmo and then theres a guitar-hero kinda game called tap tap revenge thats free. I can't wait to get home and try them out
 
I love my ipod touch. the only problem with it is there is no flash player so you cant watch ski videos on sites other than youtube.
 
Through iTunes 7.7. New version launched yesterday. Then when you are in the iTunes store, there is a special "App Store" section.
 
I have an Ipod Touch 8gb, and I love it, couldnt live without it ...

wi-fi is great, touchscreen is incredible, overall WOW.
 
i have one and i like it a lot.the battery life is really long. and also its great for watching movies, or internet.
 
nice, def go for at least a 16 or 32, i have an 8, and i have just a little(300sh) sngs and 4 ski movies and 2 others, adn i only have 2 gigs left. 8 is enought but only if you kepp music and movies on there for a little while.
 
its not bad as long as you keep recycling out old music adn expecially vids, i would only put vids on for trips, ect...
 
Thats what i want to get into doing. Having a smaller HD will hopefully force me to keep things updated :P
 
Apperently the new ipod touchs/iphones can be jailbroken with a mac (no windows port yet). Anyone tried it?
