Do you know how to edit picture?

I need some help. I have like 80 nice photos from a hike yesterday and some of my lil bro on water ramps in Lake Placid. The only problem is that I changed the batteries in the camera a little while ago, so all the pictures have 1/27/2004 on the bottom right. Anybody want to help me out on how to get the date out of the picture if possible. and no I dont want to crop it out.

easiest way is to just take it off the camera..keep the pictures on the camera and just take off the date..it should come off all the pictures that were taken too.
 
i could try to photoshop it. im at work right now. but im not the greatest at the healing and clone stamp tools, or w/e (i forget what i use ATM). and i probably couldnt do 80.
 
Yea I'm not looking for people to do them for me, Im just trying to do them myself and can't figure it out. Thanks for the help though, I'll keeping messing around with the program I have. The only problem is that it is a crappy one that came with another camera, its like microsoft picture it. Does anybody know a free download program that would have a tool to get rid of the time stamp?
 
i dont think any program would do that, try messing with your camera settings, and then reodownload them to your comp
 
yeah, i dont think you can just go and take the date off and then the pics wont hvae. the pics will still have the date, but the new pictures wouldnt
 
I wasn's going to post them on the web, the only reason I really care is because my dad does a bunch of stuff with pictures and he wants them.
