i usto have soft boots i just bought a pair of pro models not the 1080 version think theyll be to stiff for a park rat.i think tere like a 9.5 flex also can the flex be changed?

I use old Pro Models (thought the 1080's were too soft) plus they have better lateral response.

But if you think Pro Models are still too stiff, you can take out the 2 bolts on the back of the shell to make them softer. (I don't know if the new ones are the same)

i ski in race stock boots...i used to race, its the only thing i can ski in comfortable. although it does do a number on your shins.

I ride Lange FR120's. I hate the lack of control and responsiveness soft boots have, and I need something stiffer to drive my skis anyway.

il moros with the medium tongue in them but i think they are almost as soft as this years kaos which i tried on also. So idk soft/medium?

Medium/Hard usually. I start out that way, then if its cold as my boots seem to stiffen I loosen

Currently i have x wave 6's but i hate them so i am probably getting full tilt bumble bee pros

on a related note, how stiff/soft are the full tilts?

mojo's, so mediium stiff i guess. need new ones cos i fucked the toe plates on them and my boots keep comin out by bindings.

i ride head mojo 80 skiis and dalbello krypton rampage boots, so stiff ski and soft boot, i love the combo, with the way skiis initiate turns nowadays a stiff boot really isnt neccesary unless you race.

Since im only 140, i really can't flex anything over a 90 flex when the boot is cold, so i have a soft boot. I hate soft skis though, because i just can't stand them.

I've been riding my Krypton Pro's with the stiff tongue, but swapped over to the soft tongue for comparison. We'll see how it works out tomorrow.

chili pro's...95 flex on them. if i was riding more in the steep and deep portion of skiing i would want something but stiffer but i its a good medium flex for what i do.

I don't know exactly what you mean... I do however like softer boots better, I think? I ride the 06 1080's now and they're nice, a little more cushion around the upper heel lower ankle would be nice, but it's a light boot, and get's rid of the shin bang.

I got a pair of them. The flex is medium. It's a lot different than overlap boots. It's almost exponential. The start off semi-soft but they get a little stiffer after you push after a certain point. but it doesn't just lock up and stop. You can flex them pretty far if you push hard enough. Also I hardly ever get shinbang anymore
