Ordered the helmet thinking it would be closer to the brown of my jacket. Not sure about it. Part of me thinks it’s okay part of me thinks nah. Opinions welcomed.

fyi… the helmet looks kinda peachy in the pic but not in real life. Just a darker brown.

Yeah all my buddies said the same thing but for some reason I thought the all brown kit would be clean. Didn’t expect the helmet to be this dark though.

I live in AK and I bought this from Evo while back home in Colorado, so I’m kinda stuck with it unless I want to spend an extra $70 to get another one shipped up here.

I’ll never understand how I can buy skis from backcountry and have them shipped free to AK, but if I buy a pair of socks from evo shipping costs $70. No joke

Evo needs to figure their shit out
 
I rock the same helmet and yeah, all the photos of it online make it look like a light brown or a khaki when its really more like a caramel/butterscotch color. It's probably too warm a color with a strait tan jacket. If you don't wanna exchange it you'd be fine just slapping some dope stickers on it and calling it a day.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Different shades but kinda still works in a way. Just wish it was more khaki is all

Have the same helmet, just about a perfect match to my bibs so it works well. Its comfy and works well, I'd not worry to much about it.

I like it! I’d rock it w some dark grey pants, maybe some black n white stickers on the helm to break up the brown on brown action just a little.

Yeah like half the time I think it looks good, and the other half I think it looks shit lol

the pic I posted on here makes it look worse too because it almost has a pink tint to it.

Dude! Where do they get off on charging Alaskans so much for shipping?!?! I was going to buy skis from evo last season, but ended up going through Powder7 because they ship to AK for free.

my friend ordered skis from evo a couple season ago and they charged her like $150 for shipping.

I’ll never understand how some companies can ship free to AK and others say they have to charge a hefty fee in order to make money on a sale.
 
I think it looks really nice. I kinda like that they don't match up perfectly. It matches but adds some variety. I like that. I am also color blind so maybe don't listen to my opinion. If you like it rock it with confidence and everyone will think it looks sick.

Jokes aside I like the color and fit of thosee burton AK's. The burton part kinda quirks me off though, The company makes bad graphics and cringe ads.

Burton AK is some of the best most bomber stuff you can buy. I just wanted a kit that fits good and I know will last for a bunch of years.
 
I always go black with my helmet but this fit ain’t to bad. I wouldn’t worry about it, just buy a new one when it saves you from a major head ache
