Do squires like me?

so ive had squires for 2 years and weigh about 135 pounds. I ski all park in the midwest and lap hundreds of times all day. I've never once had a problem with my squires. I'v had friends that have broken their squires within the first week and others that break them every week.(exaggeration) Everyone hates them and I should too except they've been amazing for me and have never broken or released at the wrong time. Do squires just like me or am I just lucky?

I've never understood the marker royal series hate. I've put hundreds of days on my griffons and never had any problems with them.

I don't think the hate's directed at the griffons haha, it's mostly the squires

I ski'd all last year on squires with no problem. this year I got another second hand pair. everyone in my school and at the hill using squires has broken a feature on them if not more. the brake on mine kinds just fell apart when I landed front on them. one in fine but the other is just fucked. I took the whole brake system off because I couldn't clip into them otherwise. now t=when it comes off it goes all the way down the hill. squires deserve have.

Sounds like you guys need to move up in din... and bindings. The squires are garbage I had a pair and well I outgrew them through out the season --- 4-5 years ago and I remember they ended up giving me the same problem as I out weighted the din setting.

TLDR////

The squire is an entry level - kids/woman's binding.

Squires are entry level/kid/light skier bindings so if you're a beginner then they're perfect for you. I've heard Griffon heel pieces are notoriously weak which was reaffirmed when they structurally failed into 3 pieces on a bullshit pre-release. I stay away from Marker bindings now
