Do pivots ever go on sale

Want to get a cast set up for next season, but dont know whether to get pivot 18 or 15. I usually have 8 din so I could get 18's if they are on sale, but would prefer 15's when they come out. Seems like because they dont change from year to year there would be no reason to go on sale, but if they do lmk.

Yeah those sold out in hours lol. They don’t go on sale much at all.
 
They do go on sale, usually it's not a huge discount but they change colors every year and some people only want this year's color, just like topsheet on skis.
 
Yeah summertime on ebay. I got a pair of pivot 14 from asogear for $200 last year. Saw a bunch of other sellers with similar deals

ASOGear which is Corbetts.com discontinued/extra stock etc EBay store will always sell last years remaining stock at a deal. So mid March or so, the 2019/2020 stock will go on sale at 30-40% off. Look at the Corbetts site first and remember prices on Corbetts.com listed in Canadian Dollars, ASOGear.com listed in US dollars.
 
Last week on evo they had the raw colorway of 18s for $250 and I missed the sale and feel like a jabroni... ended up picking up forza 18s for $300 which to me was still a good price and not a hard deal to find!
 
Just looked on Corbetts and have 20% off now(more off in a month I’m sure) but they have Pivot 12s at $239 CAN($182 US), Pivot 14s at $279 CAN($212 US) and Pivot 18s at $319 CAN($246 US).

I'm using the 14 with cast, just had to take a dremel and cut off a bit of the black plastic lip at the front bottom of the toe piece. That being said, I'm using the previous generation cast plates so I'm not sure this would work if you're using the current generation cast freetour; but looking at the design, I think it would work too.

With the previous generation "Si&I" cast system you could use almost any binding really such as an sth, jester, ect... honestly wish that compatibility was still around with the new generation of cast I'm trying to buy bc it would save me a ton of money
