Do I need to remount?

I have 2 pairs of skis and the bindings are mounter for a BSL of 308mm. They were mounted so that the bindings would only move on the track to be bigger. So my question is, if I were to buy boots that are a BSL of 306 or 307, would I need to remount. Thanks, and please no stupid comments like bootfitter, etc

Possibly...usually a tech doesn't mount at the absolute beginning of the forward pressure setting because boots wear out in the toe and heel so adjustments in mms are needed, but also because of reasons like this. Most likely you'll be fine, but what I would do is bring the skis with you when you get fitted and have them test the bindings before you buy them (if it's a legit shop/boot fitter it shouldn't be a problem at all), that way you know exactly what your getting into. Also, a remount isn't the worst thing in the world theses days, most skis now can handle 2 or 3 (or even more) mounts.

You may no need a remount. Like Flashkick said, bring your skis to the shop. Clip into them with the boots and see if they are fine. If they are good, no need to remount.
